Planning Day 3

Tomorrow we will be shooting a number of important scenes in the film with in a short space of time, including the news report sequence shot and all of the montage scenes, requiring multiple set-ups. In order to maximise our efficiency and ensure we don't face the same issues as last time, we have been developing a more detailed shot list with the director, split into setups and locations.

As our actors are available at different times on different days, we have also included the talent required in each shot, making it easier to prioritise our shots and even in some cases use ourselves in some of the close-ups.

Together Chris and I came up with a schedule and a plan to split the team in morning and prepare for two scenes.Whilst Alex and I shoot the news reporter scene with the actors, the rest of the crew will set dress and pre-light the following scene in the other location.

Chris and I also travelled to the location where we will be filming the sequence shot and roughly blocked it out, using lines from the scene as cues for movement and switching camera angles. Hopefully with this preparation we should be able to maintain an efficient work speed with few interruptions.
